The Pommern Secondary School has more than 900 students, 55 teachers, and 16 non-teaching staff.

is as important as education for young minds,” host Bishop Mdegella of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania has asserted. “Our
youth need a solid education as a foundation if they are to contribute to our
community and our country.”

Classroom sponsorship money is used towards school supplies like textbooks, pencils, papers, charts and flashcards, school building renovation projects, and other basic necessities school children need as well as uniforms and tuition.
